Used primarily for law enforcement and border control, ELISE accesses and analyzes data from disparate databases and supports fingerprint, iris, face, and voice recognition. It also designed to store and analyze biographic data including name, age, and physical attributes. It has been used for "refugee management" and visa application systems.
