Description

Iskra Technologies, formerly known as IskraUralTEL, is a Russian company that provides communication equipment, digital platforms, and automation systems that facilitate surveillance. In 2013, Privacy International reported that IskraUralTEL had developed at least three components of SORM (System for Operative Investigative Activities), a Russian state-mandated surveillance system. Historical documentation from Iskratel in 2017 also suggests involvement in such systems. Iskra Technologies also provides products for interception. Specifically, their Data Network Lawful Interception Solution enables the monitoring and interception of communications across various networks, including fixed, mobile, and broadband. This supports real-time data collection, processing, and delivery to law enforcement agencies.
