What is Sblam! HTTP Spammers
Sblam! HTTP Spammers is the IP export of Sblam!, a free anti-spam API service that web-form and comment-system operators query in real time to check whether a submitting IP is a known spam source. The published list is the batch-export view of the same underlying reputation database the live API serves, aggregated from the submission patterns Sblam! observes across its participating sites. It has been a lightweight, free alternative to heavier commercial anti-spam services for smaller sites for over a decade. It is indexed here as a long-running, free web-form-spam reference.
