Canon schema vocabulary
extends schema.org/Thing
An IPv4 Address is a 32-bit numeric label, written as a dotted quad such as 8.8.8.8, that identifies a host or interface on an IPv4 network. On Whisper Internet Directory, each IPv4 address is published at /ip/{address} as a schema.org Thing, carrying its GeoIP location, the announced prefix and Autonomous System that route it, reverse-DNS hostnames, and threat-feed memberships — sourced from BGP, GeoIP, and threat-intelligence data in WhisperGraph.
This page is the canonical definition of the IPv4 Address type in the Whisper Internet Directory vocabulary. Every /ip entity page references it from its structured data via the additionalType field, extending the schema.org Thing base type so crawlers and LLMs can resolve the Canon-specific meaning of the entity.
